Social Media Video Campaign series - Mac and Hailey
SYLVANIA AUTOMOTIVE
For this series, we follow a couple on their adventures through life - both inside and outside of the vehicle.
For this series, our focus was on making a connection from the safety steps we take in everyday life back to headlights, while still communicating the benefits of SYLVANIA SilverStar ULTRA headlight replacement bulbs.
Think about it... we, as consumers, purchase endless items to help keep us safer, like smoke detectors, car seats, outlet covers, but we never really think about our headlights as safety items. We don't wait until our tires or brakes are completely worn out and broken before changing them, yet most of us wait until a headlamp is has completely burned out before replacing it. Like tires and brakes, headlight bulbs wear down; they dim gradually over time, providing less and less light output as the filaments age.
We knew that this campaign had to be entertaining, with a soft allusion to headlights and safety, and to remain shareable and live within the social world.

TV & DIGITAL MEDIA - CONNECTION
FOR PETE’S SAKE - KNOWLEDGEABLE, NICE, DETERMINED, AND PATIENT.
Pete represents all I.T. superheroes. He’s alone in a fictitious company filled with every stereotype who presents every challenge to every I.T. person out there. He’s constantly attacking the many challenges presented to him; he alone weathers the I.T. storm. He’s a calming influence, a steady warrior, and an affective solver of the craziest of issues.
As a branding device; as a delivery system for Connection solutions, he can address any situation in a brief, memorable fashion. The fictitious place and people will be loved by all. Like the best of Hollywood entertainment, his situation and the characters surrounding him will set him up as the computer world’s ultimate underdog.
Ah, but he’s NOT alone. He has Connection. He has help to combat the hilarity that is today’s ever-changing corporate landscape of I.T. We will all root for him and smile at the constant assault on his I.T. department. (Which is just hm, BTW.) Everything we do at Connection is for Pete’s sake; for his well-being.
